Case summary
A resident of St. Petersburg. Since 2019, he participated in rallies against the demolition of the building of the former Institute of Paper Industry. He was detained on 8 January 2026, the day the building was demolished. A case of hooliganism was brought against Glukhov: according to the investigation, he sprayed a gas cartridge in the face of a guard who was hired to keep activists away from the building.
A city defender claims, in conversation with Okno media, that Glukhov "was thrown down on the snow by several thugs, was kicked, then he pulled out a gas cartridge and as a result became not only beaten, but also a defendant in a criminal case".
The day after his detention, Glukhov was placed under house arrest.
