Case summary

Ukrainian journalist. He was prosecuted for incitement to terrorism because of two interviews with former sports journalist and "What? Where? When?" expert Rovshan Askerov. Rovshan Askerov. According to the investigation, the journalist called for an attempt on the life of the Russian leadership and the financing of terrorist activities. On 15 April 2026, Gomon was sentenced in absentia to nine years in prison.
