According to the investigation, in January 2023, while outside the Russian Federation, he took an interview with foreign agent Rovshan Askerov, during which both called for an unlimited number of people to attempt to attack the life of the leadership of the Russian Federation. In July 2024, during another interview with Askerov, he called for the financing of terrorism.

Ukrainian journalist. He was prosecuted for incitement to terrorism because of two interviews with former sports journalist and "What? Where? When?" expert Rovshan Askerov. Rovshan Askerov. According to the investigation, the journalist called for an attempt on the life of the Russian leadership and the financing of terrorist activities. On 15 April 2026, Gomon was sentenced in absentia to nine years in prison.
