Dmitrii Gordon

Ukrainian TV presenter. On 19 July, he was put on the wanted list and on 22 July he was arrested in absentia in the case of public calls to unleash a war of aggression, actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity, as well as at humiliating the dignity of a person or a group of persons on the grounds of gender, race, nationality, language, origin, attitude to religion, as well as affiliation to a social group, committed in public, including through mass media or information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet, with the use of an official status and disseminating false information about Russia's' armed forces. On 2 September, the Ministry of Justice included Gordon in the register of individuals - "foreign agents"; thus, Gordon became the first foreign citizen to be included in the register of foreign agents. In January 2024, it was reported that Gordon was again wanted, this time for public justification of terrorism. On 1 July 2024, the journalist was sentenced in absentia to 14 years in prison.
