On 12 May 2020 he was detained after a search, taken into custody in a case of organising activities of an extremist organisation. On 8 July transferred to house arrest. 6 February 2021 elected a preventive measure in the form of prohibition on certain actions. On 3 February 2023 sentenced to six years' suspended sentence.
