Case summary
On 12 May 2020, detained after a search as part of a case of organising activities of an extremist organisation, released the same day. On 8 March 2021, it becomes known that a case of participation and involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation has been opened against Kobelev. On 10 March he signed the recognizance not to leave. Later the charge was reclassified to organising the activities of an extremist organisation. 3 February 2023 sentenced to six years suspended sentence.
