The ground for criminal prosecution was the comment "Aha, here the boomerang returns!". It was published on 12 March 2024 in a VKontakte blog under the news about Ukrainian drone attack. As a result of the drone hit, a part of the Lukoil's oil refinery in the town of Kstovo, Nizhnii Novgorod Region, caught fire.
