Case summary

A resident of Kherson region (Ukraine). Taken into custody no later than summer 2022. A case was opened against him on charges of participation in an illegal armed formation in connection with involvement in the activities of the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, whose involvement in any military actions has not been proven. On 16 September 2022, Gudym was sentenced to five years' imprisonment.
