According to the prosecution, he made the inscriptions "No to War!" and "Putin is a fascist!" on the memorial "The mass grave of Soviet Army soldiers who died in the defense of Leningrad in 1941-1943" and on the stele "Historical routes of the Peterhof and Narva roads". He was also reported to had painted the stele "Soviet Era" in Polezhaevsky Park. He was initially accused of desecrating mass graves, but his defenders managed to prove that there were no graves in the places where the inscriptions were drawn.
