Case summary
Resident of Murmansk region. Detained on 21 July 2021 after a search, questioned as part of a case on organising activities of an extremist organisation in connection with involvement in the activities of the Jehovah's Witnesses community. On 22 July she signed a recognisance not to abscond. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters. On 15 May 2023 Ilyasova was sentenced to a fine of 400 thousand rubles.
