Full wording of the charges
Kalakin's support group reported that he was charged with inciting terrorism and justifying terrorism over two comments. The first comment was posted by Anton in the Telegram channel "Irkutsk Blog" in July 2024. Under a post stating that governor Igor Kobzev considered war expenditures “a higher priority” than repairing schools, he wrote: “Hang him without trial or investigation from a lamppost on Karl Marx Street!” The second comment concerned the exchange of prisoners of war: “Azov fighters, defenders of Mariupol and other regions of Ukraine, those are the ones who need to be freed!” Anton wrote these words in the channel of Ukrainian videoblogger Volodymyr Zolkin last October.

He is a resident of Irkutsk and an anti-fascist. Before his arrest, he worked various jobs: most recently as a security guard and a boat repairer. In April 2025, he was detained in a case concerning calls for terrorism over comments he had posted on Telegram in 2024.
One of the comments concerned the idea that prisoners from the Ukrainian Azov Regiment should be released: “Azov fighters, defenders of Mariupol and other regions of Ukraine. Those are the ones who need to be freed!”
