Igor Kazankov

The reason for the case was an incident at a Magnit supermarket in the settlement of Oktyabrsky on 23 November 2022, when, in an inebriated state, he allegedly caused a disturbance in the store and stripped to the waist, displaying tattoos featuring Nazi symbols. In the parking lot next to the store, he shouted the phrase "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!". In March 2022, Kazankov was charged for a similar incident under administrative articles for discrediting the Russian army (Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code), with a fine of 50 thousand rubles, and for displaying Nazi symbols (Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code), with an arrest for 8 days. According to the rulings, he displayed his tattoos in the lobby of a Moscow metro station, accompanying it with a Nazi salute and “loud public slogans with thematic content.” After this incident, he was also arrested for 10 days under the article for petty hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code).
