Case summary
A resident of Moscow and the Moscow region. On 5 December 2024, a search was conducted at her home. She was then detained and placed in custody as part of a criminal case on the activities of an extremist organisation in connection with her involvement with the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters. On 2 October 2025, Korol was transferred to house arrest. As it turned out in court, the key witness in the case testified at the investigation under a false name - under a passport issued to her by the FSB officers so that she could participate in operational-search activities.
