Case summary

A resident of the Vladimir region. In August 2024, he was detained in a case of calls for activities against the security of the state. The reason for the prosecution was that in May of the same year, Kulikov forwarded to a public messenger chat room a video in which law enforcers found calls to finance the AFU to win Ukraine's war with Russia.

The exact content of the video is unknown. The court materials cite Kulikov's testimony after his arrest: he allegedly said that he was against the invasion of Ukraine and forwarded the video so that users could see "how the Russian army could not stand up to the AFU, so that this would lead to Russia's early defeat in the SWO, the further disintegration of the Russian Federation and its transition under the influence of foreign states".

Following his arrest, Kulikov was taken into custody. On 15 September 2025, the court sentenced him to three years in a general regime colony.
