According to the investigation, the prosecution arises from comments published between July 2022 and April 2023 on the messaging platform Telegram and the social network VKontakte. Investigators contend that the remarks were intended to encourage an unspecified number of people to commit acts of terrorism and that they promoted the practice of terrorism as legitimate, worthy of support and to be emulated. The case cites the following comments (quoted as published), together with their dates and posting context: “We need to blow this Crimean bridge the fuck up already!” — posted on 14 July 2022 beneath an item about the rocket strike on Vinnytsia in the Ukrainian Telegram channel Bochkala_WAR. “Ukraine has no gunpowder. It's high time to establish production of medium-range missiles. Even North Korea produces missiles. Well, fill the Zenit LV with a couple of tonnes of explosives and point it somewhere, for example, at Sevastopol Bay.” — posted on 16 October 2022 in the channel Couch Assault Brigade beneath an item concerning reported Iranian missile deliveries to Russia. “It's time to start nightmarish military units and airfields on Rabsia's territory.” — posted on 30 December 2022 in the same channel under a report about a missile intercepted near Kyiv. “Z- ... explodes — good news.” — posted on 2 April 2023 in the same channel under coverage of the killing of Vladlen Tatarsky. “Prizhopinskiye trolls should be sent there as well.” — posted on 3 April 2023 in the VK public page St. Petersburg Live under the same item.
