Case summary
A journalist worked for "Slon.ru", "Russian Newsweek", "Vedomosti", "Gazeta", "Russky Focus", and the "Interfax" news agency. He is a military expert for the "Meduza" media. In July 2025, it became known that a case was brought against him for participation in the activities of an "undesirable organisation". On 10 March 2026, Kuznets was sentenced in absentia to two and a half years of imprisonment.
