In addition, during the search he was told that a second criminal case could be initiated against him for helping Polyudova. Lavrov was also charged with insulting a representative of the authorities. On 18 September 2015, Lavrov was admitted to a psychiatric hospital for a sanity examination. While Lavrov was in the hospital, an FSB investigator came to him and brought a resolution to initiation a case of incitement to extremist activity for reposting a publication by Kuban activist Darya Polyudova, which became one of the grounds for initiating a case against her of incitement to extremist activity. On 29 September 2016, Lavrov got a one-year suspended sentence and amnestied.
