Case summary
Scientist-physicist. Worked at Shenyang University in China, but returned to Russia because of the pandemic.
His detention and arrest became known on 30 September 2020, after his arrest he was sent to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention centre. The physicist's relatives did not know where he was for several days.
On 11 October 2022, he was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison, the trial was held in a closed hearing.
