On August 28, 2024, Lushavina's home was searched in connection with a case of public justification of terrorism. An ambulance arrived quickly and took her to the hospital, but law enforcement officers demanded that the head doctor prohibit her hospitalization.
The next day Lushavina was taken into custody.
