Case summary

A resident of Makhachkala. He was prosecuted for justification of terrorism and calls to extremism. The first charge was related to his comment in support of the residents of Dagestan, who are fighting against Russia on the side of Ukraine, and the comment under the post about the consequences of the AFU missile attacks on Belgorod. Magomayev was charged with the second article because of a comment in which law enforcers saw a call for violence against police officers.

On 9 April 2026, the court sentenced Magomayev to six years in a general regime colony.
