Timur Malsagov

was a participant and one of the leaders of 'the Islamic Liberation Party' ('Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami') and was aware that the organisation was subject to a decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of 14 February 2003, which had entered into legal force, banning its activities and including it in the unified federal list of organisations recognised by the courts of the Russian Federation as terrorist. He actively took part in the preparation for and holding of the meetings of the banned organisation, that were held in various buildings in Moscow. The meetings were dedicated to the learning of the idealogical literature and the skills of its interpretation, that are aimed at propoganda of the ideas and at attracting new supporters.
