Case summary
Crimean Tatar, Muslim, activist, breeder of pigeons and parrots. On 11 August 2022, Abbozov's home was searched. He was placed under house arrest on charges of organising activities of a terrorist organisation and preparation for violent seizure of power in connection with involvement in the activities of the Islamic party Hizb ut-Tahrir. On 26 November 2025, Abbozov was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime colony.
