Case summary
A resident of St. Petersburg, he worked as a courier. On 1 April 2025, he was detained in Kazan. On 3 April he was searched at his home, after which he was taken into custody. He was accused of treason in the form of transferring money to the Azov battalion and the Russian Volunteer Corps and transferring information about Russian military courts to Ukraine, as well as publicly justifying terrorism in connection with the endorsement of the activities of the RDK. On 14 November 2025, Mayer was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony.
