Case summary
Resident of the Kherson region (Ukraine). On 2 June 2023, the FSB reported that he was detained together with his brother on charges of participation in an illegal armed formation, namely the Crimean Tatar battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, which was apparently not functioning at the time of the actions imputed to Memetshaev. On 25 October 2023, he was sentenced to five years in a strict regime colony.
