Case summary

Resident of the Kherson region (Ukraine). He was detained on 8 December 2023. A case was opened against him on charges of participation in an illegal armed formation in connection with involvement in the activities of the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, whose involvement in any military actions has not been proven. On 23 May 2024, Mevlyutov was sentenced to three and a half years in a strict regime colony.
