Case summary
In May 2023, it was reported that Mokrousov was taken into custody in a case of public justification of terrorism and spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces. As of 4 August 2023, Mokrousov was released from custody. On 1 November, he was assigned a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions. After his detention, he reported that he had been tortured with a taser, but in court he retracted this statement and pleaded guilty, saying that he had changed his attitude to the "special military operation". On 20 March 2024, the court ordered him to be sent for compulsory treatment.
