Case summary
The prisoner was serving a sentence in a high-security penal colony in the Pskov region, but it is not known for what case. A new case was initiated against him for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces: according to the investigation, together with another prisoner, he demonstrated some clips produced by Ukrainian channels in the colony. In December 2024, the case went to court. On 13 March 2025, Morozov was sentenced to five and a half years' in a strict regime penal colony, taking into account the unexecuted part of the previous term. On 14 May 2025, the appeals court increased the term to seven years'.
