Case summary

A resident of Krasnodar. On 17 July 2025, the court sentenced him to a fine of 400,000 rubles in the case of justification of terrorism on the Internet because of a comment under the news about the sentencing of a St. Petersburg resident for attempted arson of two military recruitment offices. The news story was probably about the case of 17-year-old Yegor Balazeikin, who was sentenced to six years in a penal colony for attempting to set fire to two military recruitment centres.

The prosecutor's office noted that Morozov was an opponent of the war in Ukraine.
