The case on charges of justifying terrorism was opened over a post published on 31 May 2023: the image showed Putin with the text “Ukraine’s HUR named the killing of Putin and Prigozhin as its goal” and the comment “It’s давно time to kill those p******** the f**k.” The charge of spreading “false information” about the Russian Armed Forces stemmed from two videos posted on Odnoklassniki — on 12 July and 8 September 2023. One of them said that Russian soldiers were not properly supplied with uniforms and weapons, that half of the military equipment had been lost since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and discussed the production of tanks and shells in Russia. The other spoke about soldiers taking part in fighting near Bakhmut without leave or rotation, heavy personnel losses, the “senseless sending of assault groups into attacks allegedly without any support,” a shortage of contract soldiers, as well as the “conduct of a criminal war against Ukraine and heavy losses among personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and mobilisation due to unending personnel losses in the zone of the special military operation.” The video was accompanied by the comment “Forward, sheep, for the bald rat.” Muchkin is also accused of swearing at a traffic police officer and threatening him, as well as swearing at a bailiff and threatening to kill her.
