Case summary
Resident of Almetyevsk (Tatarstan). Detained on 17 October 2017 and arrested on 18 October on charges of organising activities of a terrorist organisation in connection with involvement in the activities of the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which has nothing to do with terrorism. Was also charged with inducement to commit an offence. On 26 April 2019, he was sentenced to 18 years in a strict regime colony.
In the colony for several months was in a punishment cell.
