Case summary

He is the coordinator of the organising committee "For the Removal of Lenin", a supporter of conservative-monarchist views and Orthodox fundamentalism. Nalimov also believes that power in the Russian Federation is in the hands of the Satanists and that the symbols of Victory are linked to the cult of Satan. In November 2022, he was sentenced to three years of forced labour under the article of insulting days of military glory, due to the publication of posts depicting pentagrams drawn upon symbols of the Great Patriotic War. On 16 November 2023, the Court of Cassation overturned this verdict and sent the case to the appellate court.
