Case summary
Resident of Moscow. A criminal case was opened against him for spreading “fake” information about the Russian Armed Forces, calls for terrorism, preparation to participate in the activities of a terrorist organization, and treason. According to the investigation, he wrote comments and posted images in support of the “Freedom of Russia” Legion, submitted an application to join the Legion, and planned to travel to Ukraine via Georgia but was detained. In July 2025, the case was sent to court. On February 9, 2025, the young man was sentenced to five years in a general-regime penal colony.
