Case summary

A resident of Chita has been charged with inciting terrorism online. According to the prosecution, Ogarkova made comments from December 2022 to February 2024 in which she called for attacks on the life of President Vladimir Putin and justified missile strikes on the Crimea Bridge. In late July 2025, the case was transferred to the Second Eastern District Military Court. On 20 August 2025, Ogarkova was sentenced to five years in a general regime penal colony.
