Case summary

Resident of Togliatti. Pegankin's wife believes that the reason for the persecution was anti-war publications. Both openly spoke out against the war on the Internet, the wife was detained at a rally against mobilisation in September 2022 and threatened with deprivation of parental rights. The spouses and their son are not in Russia. The case was opened on 8 November 2023, Pegankin's place of residence was searched, his parents were questioned as witnesses. Pegankin was put on a wanted list.
