Case summary
An Ukrainian serviceman. He was captured, then prosecuted for participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation and undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities due to his involvement in the Azov battalion. On 23rd of August, 2024, Podushko was sentenced to 18 years' imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony. On 4th July, 2025, he was handed over to Ukraine as part of a prisoner exchange.
