Case summary

A resident of Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine. In March 2024, he was detained and taken into custody as part of a case involving participation in a terrorist organization and undergoing training for the purpose of engaging in terrorist activity. The basis for the charges was his alleged service in the “Donbas” battalion during 2020–2021. On October 22, 2024, he was sentenced to 18 years in a strict-regime penal colony.
