Case summary
On 7 April 2021 it became known about criminal proceedings' initiation. Ponomareva is suspected of recruiting a local resident into the activities of an extremist organisation. A personal recognisance was assigned. On 2 December, she was sentenced in absentia to five years in a general regime colony.
