Case summary
July 25th 2018, he was detained and July 26th arrested on charges of organising and participating in the activities of an extremist organisation. On September 21st, transferred under house arrest. In October, a measure of restriction was chosen in the form of a ban on certain actions. In January 2019 - in the form of a personal recognizance.
On September 25th, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office.
On October 9th 2020,he was sentenced to eight years' suspended sentence. On February 26th 2021, the appeals court reduced the sentence to three years suspended. On February 10th 2022, the court of cassation instance returned the case to the court of appeal on the prosecution's complaint. On March 30th, the appeal court dismissed the charge of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation and re-sentenced Rayman to a three-year suspended sentence.
