Case summary
A journalist and blogger, a former host at Echo of Moscow radio station, and a the host of the "Razvorot" YouTube channel. In January 2025, he was added to the register of “foreign agents.” He subsequently left Russia. On February 12, 2026, investigators charged him in absentia in a case involving the dissemination of knowingly false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, over a publication about the attack on a playground in Kryvyi Rih. At the same time, the document stated that he had committed attempted petty bribery, although the circumstances described referred to the alleged dissemination of “fakes” about the army.
