Case summary

Resident of Buzuluk (Orenburg region). In June 2021, it became known that a report was drawn up against him under the article on contempt of authority (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Admnistrative Code) because of a picture in "VKontakte" with the inscription "Open letter to the President of the Russian Federation: go *** yourself". In August, the case was dismissed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. Since February 2023 Salazkin, according to his own words, has been living without a passport: it was left with the law enforcers after the survey. It is not known in connection with what the survey took place. On 16 May 2024, FSB officers came to Salazkin's flat and carried out an examination of his flat as part of investigative measures under the article on "fakes". All the equipment was seized from him, but he was released then. On 7 June it became known that the case was opened. On 28 April 2025 Salazkin was sentenced to one and a half years in a penal colony. In December 2025, it was reported that Salazkin was forced to work in the colony with acute bronchitis and a fever.
