Case summary

Resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, employee of the AntaresGroup trading company. Speaks out against the war in Ukraine. On 21 March 2025, he was arrested for ten days on an administrative case of disorderly conduct. At the end of this term Sarbaev was taken to the FSB department, where he was charged with criminal case of state treason because of the transfer of 400 rubles to Ukrainian military medics, made in February 2022. The day after Sarbaev was detained in the criminal case, the Central District Court of Komsomolsk-on-Amur took him into custody. On 23 December 2025, he was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony.
