Житель Москвы. 27 июня 2025 года его взяли под стражу по обвинению в призывах к деятельности, направленной против безопасности РФ. По версии следствия, он поручил двум другим преследуемым, Валентину Землянскому и Антону Ярцеву, разложить в клубе Deep Fried Friends листовки с QR-кодом, ведущим на сайт со сбором денег на нужды ВСУ, что они и сделали в ночь на 18 августа 2024 года. На суде Щеглов утверджал, что устроил эту акцию ради денег, поскольку у него был крупный долг. В суде выступил сотрудник ФСБ, который заявил, что еще в сентябре 2023 года получил от Щеглова сообщение, что руководство клуба придерживается антивоенной позиции. 5 декабря 2025 года Щеглова приговорили к шести годам колонии общего режима.
