Case summary

On 19 April 2016, a search and interrogation were conducted as part of the case on calls to violate the territorial integrity of Russian Federation. A signature of non-departure was taken. In August 2016, the investigator denied travelling to Kyiv for treatment of the spine. On 7 December, an indictment was filed.

22 September 2017 sentenced to 2 years of suspended sentence with prohibition on engaging in public activities for 3 years. On 18 December, the court of appeal reduced the ban by 1 year.

On 14 January 2020, the court terminated probation early and expunged Semena's criminal record.
