Case summary

Resident of Crimea. He was engaged in agricultural work. On 29 May 2023, the FSB reported about his detention together with his brother. Both were accused of participation in the activities of the Crimean-Tatar battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, which, apparently, at the time of the actions attributed to the brothers, had long ceased to exist. The Settarovs were taken into custody. On 26 October 2023, Alexey Settarov was sentenced to five years in a strict regime colony.
