Case summary

Resident of Crimea, worked in agriculture. On the 29th of May 2023, the FSB made reports about Settarov's detention along with his brother. Both were accused of participating in the activity of a Crimean Tatar battalion named after Noman Çelebicihan, which, at the time of the actions attributed to the brothers, had apparently long ceased to exist. The Settarov's were taken into custody. On the 22nd November 2023 Vladimir Settarov was sentenced to five and a half years in a strict regime penal colony.
