According to the investigation, since January 2016, he participated in a foreign illegal armed formation in Ukraine, namely the "Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan", having joined it on the grounds of political enmity towards the Russian Federation; he performed functional duties in the battalion related to the maintenance of auxiliary farming, cleaning the territory, collecting firewood and supplying the members of the formation with food.

Full summary
Resident of Kherson region (Ukraine). He was the deputy chairman of the Kherson regional Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. Detained on 4 March 2022 in Simferopol and taken into custody on charges of participation in the activities of an illegal armed formation, namely the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, which, apparently, had long been dormant at the time of the prosecution. On 30 November, he was sentenced to nine years in a high security prison.
