Case summary
Ukrainian serviceman. On 20 May 2022, he was taken prisoner. A criminal case was opened against him for participation in the activities of a terrorist community and for undergoing training with the intent to carry out terrorist activities. On 1 July 2025, Shanaev was sentenced to 20 years in a strict regime colony.
