Case summary
Resident of Sterlitamak. In November 2023, a case was opened against him on dissemination of deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Shepelev signed a recognisance not to abscond. On March 20, 2024, he was sentenced to five months of corrective labour. In April 2024, it became known that another case was opened against Shepelev for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. On October 12, 2024, Shepelev informed that he left Russia.
On December 5, 2025, the court sentenced him in absentia to four years in a colony-settlement.
