The reason for the case was a comment with the words "burn the State Duma" published in 2020. It referred to the news "The State Duma adopted in the first reading the law on changes to the list of Days of Military Glory and Commemorative Dates, according to which it determined the new date of the end of the Second World War - 3 September". The publication "Sapa 15" notes that this decision of officials caused a negative reaction in the region because of the coincidence with the anniversary of the terrorist attack in Beslan.
