Detained on 6 June 2023 in Barnaul and taken to Moscow. Charged with creation of an extremist community and participation in it within the framework of the case against the anti-war movement "Viasna". On 8 June he was taken into custody. Initially gave a confession, then retracted it. On 8 April 2026, Sinelnikov was sentenced to seven and a half years in a general regime colony.
