According to the court verdict, in October 2019, accessing the Internet from her mobile phone, Lyudmila Stech reposted on her VKontakte page a publication from the group Narodnaya Samooborona about the anniversary of the terrorist attack on law enforcement officers in Arkhangelsk by Mikhail Zhlobitsky. The repost on her page was accompanied by a comment which, according to the verdict, contains "psychological and linguistic signs of justification of the committed terrorist act, propaganda of terrorism and ideology of violence and calls to carry out terrorist activities".

Full summary
As part of the criminal case, law enforcers came to Stetsch's house with a search on 8 May. First, they knocked on the door, presenting themselves as employees of Rospotrebnadzor. However, Stech did not open the door, and then they broke the window.
During the search, a router and a mobile phone were seized from the resident of Kaliningrad. After that, Stech was taken for interrogation, where she was informed that she was a suspect in the criminal case. After the interrogation, she was released home on her own recognisance.
Stech fully confessed her guilt and repented of what she had done. In addition to her confession, the main evidence of her guilt is the conclusion of a comprehensive forensic psychological and linguistic examination conducted by an expert of the Federal Security Service Directorate. On 19 November 2020, the Kaliningrad woman was sentenced to a fine of 350 thousand rubles (US$4492).
